The annual Stewards of the Southwest Summit, (formerly known as the New Mexico Tribal Forest & Fire Summit) brings together Tribal and Indigenous foresters, practitioners, natural resource managers, emergency departments, NGOS, and state & federal agencies to center the needs, challenges, and successes of Tribal forestry and fire management in the U.S. Southwest.
